For the first Ramen Club meeting we went to a ramen shop that was very close to the church. Having heard rumors from friends that this new place was not good, we wanted to inspect it and see for ourselves.For most of the evening we had the whole place to ourselves. This is not surprising as this shop has large windows in the front of the store and usually looks empty. Being the only ones there, we had great service. For instance, we had frequent water refills for our cups.
We needed frequent refills for our cups because of this particular Ramen soup was very salty. My friends kept saying the word "Koi". The verdict of this ramen was that the soup was too salty and too strong to be ranked high. It was not terrible, but nothing in it praiseworthy.
Nevertheless we had a fun time, being ramen judges is a lot of fun!
